Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actor who is employed in TV and film is best known for films such as Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Since she was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra began her career in showbiz at a young age. Her roles included lead characters in television dramas as early as the age of 16. Her performance as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated historical war film) was critically as well as highly rated commercially.
